Passing the Deployment
I’m excited, I have alot going on this summer and I hope it helps pass the time that Jared is deployed. I have work at Six Flags which is so much fun and keeps me REALLY busy. I haven’t been posting on here a ton… I’ve been so busy with school I just don’t have time to write about stuff… But I’m hoping that tomorrow I can post pictures of the bowls I’ve been throwing on the pottery wheel, and my octopus sculpture. Also, my boss wanted me to fill out all these papers and get them to him on the 1st of March…but I forgot. So...
Those girls who get messages on their tumblr from someone being perfectly nice but has a differing opinion than them and the girl flips out and goes off on how retarded and stupid they are and throws in a bunch of unnecessary cussing… I hate it, and yet I keep reading because I just don’t understand how someone can be so bitchy….

My grandad is in town for a body scan to make sure his cancer is still gone… We have a celebration dinner after every check but this time I’m not feeling well so I have to miss it. I’m bummed… I know he will understand but it’s a big deal to me… So I guess bummed is putting it lightly because I’m really upset that I have to miss it…

Yeah, we didn’t get to skype while he was overseas, and I only got two or three phone calls, but getting an email at 3 am is the best feeling in the world. I’ve got my fingers crossed for you!!

…so I’m saying this is my mini-predeployment. It’s going okay so far…I miss him of course, but I think the hardest thing is not being able to call him and tell him when something happens… I can deal without skype and whatnot, I just miss even a 1 minute phone call from him. The real deployment is going to be so hard… I’m just ready for work to start this...
