So this is just a bit about me and my background. It’s weird trying to figure out where to start… I mean I doubt you want my to tell you about every second of my life. To be honest I don’t have a very exciting life. I’m just kind of average and boring. Nothing special. One thing I should say ahead of time, Ellie is my blog name, not my real name. But I have to stay somewhat anonymous in case certain people try and search for my Tumblr account.

Anyways I guess I’ll start by saying I’m a Christian. I think that’s an important place to start because that what I base my life on. No, I’m not perfect at all, and no, I’m not one of those people who hates anyone who isn’t a Christian. I’ll touch on that a bit later. I have always grown up in a Christian home, my parents are still together, I have an older brother who’s married, and older sister, and a little brother. I love my older brother, he is hilarious, but his wife isn’t too great. My older sister has a nickname, “Junior Mom” it’s because she’s bossy, and always has been. I connect really well with my little brither and I work really hard at being a good role model for him.So that’s my family.

I have always been really creative! When people ask, “Are you an artist?” I say no because I suck at drawing and stuff but I am really crafty. For example I made a perfect replica of Katy Perry’s “California Girls” cupcake boobs costume. (Legit look it up on my tumblr sometime it’s awesome!) I don’t like to party and I don’t drink, or smoke. I don’t think its wrong if people do, I just don’t like too.

When I started high school I literally played every sport I could. Volleyball, basketball, soccer and I even ran track at one point. But My high school closed at the end of my freshman year so I had to switch schools, so I dropped all sports and picked up lacrosse. But now that I’m in college I don’t play any sports.

I met Jared my freshman year (you can check out my page on our story if you want). We are both virgins waiting until we get married, oh and by the way we are engaged! Getting married April of 2013!!Once he is home from his first deployment to Afghanistan…

I’m sure you all have noticed by some of my posts I have a really rough relationship with my dad, so if you ever want to vent about parent issues I would totally understand!

I have a dog named Remi, a cat named Boo, and a mouse named Hank! I love them all.

I guess a big part of who I am comes from the fact that I am dating a Marine. And that might sound weird at first, but this relationship has really shaped who I am. I have learned to become my own person. Jared isn’t here all the time so I don’t feel that pressure to change for him like I have in other relationships. I think it has really pushed me to grow in different areas and learn to rely on myself for alot of things.
